Lung Transplantation
The Lung Transplant Program at MGH performs over 40 new transplants per year and cares for a large population of pre- and post-transplant patients. Our fellows rotate on this service in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. They gain exposure to pre-transplant evaluation, have the opportunity to observe organ procurement and transplantation, participate in the immediate post-operative care of patients after transplantation, learn about the breadth of post-transplant complications and receive dedicated teaching by experienced transplant physicians.
