+Current Projects
Currently our CF program is involved in several industry sponsored trials of therapies for cystic fibrosis. These are sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) which is a multicenter clinical trials network of approximately 85 CF Centers throughout the United States. Also physician members of our CF group are engaged in several investigator initiated research projects. These include investigation of lung transplantation and CF, airway cell biology, CF related diabetes, CF gut related issues such as motility and pancreatic function, CF microbiome andairways inflammation in CF. These studies are funded both by the CFF and NIH.
