Continuity Clinic
Our fellows maintain a weekly continuity clinic at either MGH or BIDMC for the three years of their training. Each fellows’ clinic is staffed by a core ambulatory preceptor, who is both an experienced outpatient pulmonary specialist and a medical educator. Fellows serve as the primary pulmonologist for their own patient panel.
The continuity clinics are designed to ensure that fellows see the full spectrum of pulmonary medicine, allowing them to manage common pulmonary diseases and complex subspecialty cases. The clinic preceptors provide fellow-level teaching through weekly lectures on outpatient pulmonary topics.
